New York, NY – (September 8, 2008) – Integrity Music artist, Lincoln Brewster, prepares to gear up for a two week tour throughout
the West Coast in support of his new album, TODAY IS THE DAY, releasing September 23. Joining him on the tour is label mate Joel
Augé who has been busy on his own promoting his release On The Blue that released nationwide on July 1st.
TODAY IS THE DAY is a 10-track studio album that offers new songs ranging from meditative worship ballads to rocking praise such as the title song, which Lincoln co-wrote with Dove Award winner Paul Baloche. Other guest writers include Glenn Packiam of New Life Worship and Mia Fieldes of Sydney’s Hillsong Church. In addition to guest songwriters, Lincoln is joined vocally on the album by two of Christian music’s top talents – Grammy Award winner Israel Houghton and renowned Hillsong worship leader Darlene Zschech.
ON THE BLUE’s 12 songs are about life, faith and love, are vertically inspired and often introspective. All are delivered on a canvas of art-rock, folk and pop by Augé, with help from producer Stephen Leiweke, who has recently been getting acclaim for his work with the (American Idol finalist) Chris Sligh debut CD. Earlier this summer, Augé’s song, “So Deep In Love,” was exposed to millions of music fans. It appeared on iTunes Discovery Download of the Week where it received prime placement on iTunes front page.
